Services for Mrs. Erlene Null Nations, 86, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, December 23, 2013 at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Herring and Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.
Burial will be in Sand Flat Cemetery.
Mrs. Nations passed away December 21, 2013 in Tyler. She was born February 5, 1927 in Grand Saline to James Ernest & Aurbie Lee Godwin Null. She spent most all of her life in Grand Saline where she worked as a nurse aide. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Mineola. Mrs. Nations is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Relman Nations; sister, Joyce Smith; brother, J.E. Null, Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Brandi LaRoe and Blake Strickland.
Survivors include her son, Ron Nations of Lively; daughter, Cheryl Nations Thompson of Grand Saline; five grandchildren, Renae LaRoe, Kevin Strickland, Scott Strickland, Tammy Colegrove and Ron Nations, Jr.; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Loyd Nations, Treavor Darcey, Mike LaRoe, Jack Cox, Jerry Bolin and Ken Hejny.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
