Graveside services for Pauline Ruth Nelson, 85 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Creagleville Cemetery with Bro. Randy Larpenter officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nelson passed away December 11, 2011 in Grand Saline. She was born August 17, 1926 in Rutland, Vermont to Edward Everett & Nellie Coorinna Wheeler Hills. She spent her early years in Vermont and New Hampshire and then the last 59 years in Grand Saline. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and Main Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgle Lee Nelson; one brother and one sister.
Survivors include two nieces, Glenda Mesley and Linda Hammond, both of Grand Saline; four brothers-in-law, Earl Ray Copeland, J.V. Copeland, O.D. Copeland and Sammy Copeland, all of Grand Saline; two sisters-in-law, Charlene Sydes and Merle Faye Schnadenberg, both of Grand Saline and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
