Vicki Nicholas
November 16, 1954 — December 30, 2022
Mrs. Nicholas passed away December 30, 2022, at her residence in Grand Saline. She was born November 16, 1954, in Dallas, to Vernon Wayne and Louise Ann Pickard Green. Vicki was baptized into the Baptist faith and lived most of her life in Gun Barrel City, before moving to Grand Saline in 2003. On July 11, 2007, she married John Nicholas in Grand Saline. She worked for many years as an LVN in several East Texas nursing homes. Mrs. Nicholas was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, John Nicholas of Grand Saline; three sons, Joseph “Joe” Anderson of Miami, Florida, Michael C. Price of Oregon, and David Price of Emory; daughter, Christy Belknap of Santa Clarita, California; brother, James Green of Tyler; sister, Carolyn Green of Tyler; granddaughter, Lilly Price; stepson, Andrew Nicholas of Jacksonville, Florida; stepdaughter, Helen Nicholas of Charleston, South Carolina; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Sand Hill Cemetery
From Gilmer take Hwy 154, about one mile to Hwy 555 turn to the left, go about three miles until Hwy 555 meets Hwy 1649, turn to the left on Hwy 555, go about 2.2 miles to the Sand Hill Baptist Church and Sand Hill Church of Christ and the cemetery is located behind the Sand Hill Baptist Church. FM 555, Gilmer, TX 75644.
