Services for Mrs. Odell Nichols, 92 of Alba, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2013 at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Bro. Mark Winskie officiating.
Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Nichols passed away August 27, 2013 in Tyler. She was born August 26, 1921 in Van Zandt County to Augustus Lee & Pearl James Barker. She was a housewife and loved her hobbies of painting and ceramics. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, M.D. Nichols; daughter, Evelyn Dail; granddaughter, Latonya Nichols; and grandsons, Ronnie Dail and Robbie Dail.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Cliff & Paulette Nichols of Mineola, Doug & Pam Nichols of Grand Saline; half-brother, O.L. Barker of Grand Saline; half-sister, Opal Carson of Wills Point; six grandchildren, James Dail, Montie Price, Theresa Millet, Terry Nichols, Sherry Spruill and Dana Palmer; six great-grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, Jacob, Latrisha, Kendra and Alisha; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 10 a.m., Friday at the funeral home.
