Cilviya Ortega

Mrs. Cilviya Ortega, 71, of Grand Saline, passed away May 2, 2017, in Tyler. She was born October 30, 1945 in Van Ward, Ohio, to Celestino & Isidora Garza Rubio. She had been a custodian at Grand Saline ISD for 14 years. Cilviya is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Olga Rodriguez; brother, Jesse Beltran; and three sisters, Olga, Susie and Maurene.
Survivors include her husband, Carmen Luis Ortega of Grand Saline; five daughters, Irene Aguilar of Dallas, Carol Rubio of Dallas, Sylvia Rubio and husband Arturo of El Paso, Veronia Lopez and husband Jesus of Grand Saline and Marriah Phillips and husband Clint of Canton; brother, Frank Beltran of Chicago; sister, Lola Debora of Dallas; twenty grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services, handled by the family, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, May 6th, at Sand Springs Baptist Church.
