ALBA – Funeral services for Pamela Anne Beckmann Owen, 75, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018, at Enon Baptist Church, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Reggie Day officiating.
Burial will be in Jackson County Cemetery, Walden, Colorado.
Mrs. Owen passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018, in Alba.
She was born Wednesday, September, 15, 1943, in Denver, Colorado, to the late Alston Flagge and Dorothy Ann Douglas Beckmann. Pamela married Buck Owen on March 29, 1980, in Yuma, Arizona. She lived in Colorado for 18 years and moved to Rains County for the last 8 years. Pamela was an Interior Decorator, a rancher and a cowboy’s wife. She loved researching genealogy.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Buck Owen of Alba; sons, Glenn Owen and wife, Judy of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Scott Garland and wife, Angela of St. Louis, Missouri; twin daughters, Amy Espino and husband, Javier of South Carolina and Heather Gonzalez and husband, Joe of Jonesboro, Arkansas; brothers, Bruce Beckmann and wife Doris of New Jersey, George Beckmann of New York, and Eric Beckmann and wife, Barbara of Wasilla, Alaska; sister, Karen Schimpf and husband, Bill of New Jersey; grandchildren, Owen, Levi, Seth, Tessa, and Paul; and great-grandchildren, Dakota and Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carol Lynne Beckmann.
Pallbearers will be Chad Lennon, Brad Lennon, Kyle Owen, Gary McKenzie, Charlie Benedict, and Owen Gonzalez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Gonzalez, Javier Espino, Levi Gonzalez, and Seth Gonzalez.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the funeral home.
