Mrs. Carole Owens, 69, Grand Saline, passed away December 25, 2019, at her home. She was born August 23, 1950, in the Friendship Community of Grand Saline, to Robert Vernon & Buenia Allene Jarmon Fritz. She graduated from Grand Saline High School, Class of 1968 and married Danny Owens on November 29, 1968.
Carole is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lucille Fritz Monk; and brother, Robert "Buddy" Fritz.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Danny Owens of Grand Saline; son, Daniel Owens and wife Jessica of Bryan; two grandchildren, Oliver Owens and Jude Owens; nieces and nephew, Tommy Monk, Cindy Davis and Tammie Pollard; and numerous other relatives and friends.
