Graveside services for Bobbie Faye Eason Payne, 91, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2019, at Woodside Cemetery with Father Victor Hernandez officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Payne passed away November 11, 2019, in Grand Saline. She was born September 16, 1928, in Grand Saline to Jessie Lee & Carrie Bell Cantrell Eason. She was raised in Grand Saline where she graduated from GSHS, Class of 1946. She married her husband, Wallace, and they lived in Houston for many years. They moved to Grand Saline in 1980, after her retirement from the City of Houston, as a budget supervisor. Bobbie was an accomplished artist and genealogist. She was a founding member of the Van Zandt County Genealogical Society and was also a member of the Grand Saline Salty Crafters. She loved and cared for her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wallace Payne; brother, Jessie Lee Eason Jr.; sister, Anna Ruth Barnes Matthews; and niece, Karen Lea Eason Morrand.
Survivors include her sister, Mary Beth Eason Biondillo of Grand Saline; nieces and nephews, Nancy Barnes McReynolds and husband Don of Lubbock, Carla Biondillo of Grand Saline and Sam Biondillo Jr. of Richardson; grand nieces, Emily McReynolds Mueller and husband Chris and Christine Morrand Bachtel and husband Jeff; grand nephews, Kyle McReynolds, Eric Menasco, Andrew Menasco, Westin Milliorn and Terry Patrick Morrand Jr. and wife Shari; great-grand nieces, Cayden Mueller, Taylor Bachtel, Madelyn Bachtel, Peyton Bachtel, Meganne Morrand and Katelynn Morrand; great-grand nephews, Caleb Mueller, Ryan Bachtel and Tyler Morrand; and numerous other relatives and friends.
