Henry Caldwell Perry
Graveside Services for Mr. Henry C. Perry, 90, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Woodside Cemetery with Rev. Don Brown officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Perry passed away November 27, 2013 in Tyler. He was born January 18, 1923 in Corsicana to Mays Crisp Perry Sr. and Amanda Celeta Caldwell Perry. He spent his early years in Dallas, Midland and Houston before moving to Grand Saline in 1981. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Grand Saline and their Pairs & Spares Sunday School Class. He retired as a Land man for Mobil Oil Company after 40 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Mays Crisp Perry Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Dedell Perry of Grand Saline; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Caldwell & Jo Ann Perry of Brownsboro and David Mays & Teresa Perry of Midland; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Dee & Jim Parr of Grand Saline; five grandchildren, Ryan Perry, Jamie Ray, Austin Perry, Jared Perry and Colton Perry; one great-grandchild, Evan Ray; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Perry, Austin Perry, Jared Perry, Colton Perry, Roger Perry and David Perry.
The family will receive friends 1 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home prior to graveside services.
