Services for Betty Brown Peters, 77 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Bartley Funeral Home, with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.
Burial will be in Sand Flat Cemetery.
Mrs. Peters passed away November 3, 2011 at her home in Grand Saline. She was born June 10, 1934 in Garland to William & Beatrice Louis Luellen. She spent most all of her life in Van Zandt Co. where she was a homemaker and a member of Roundflat Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Billy Richard “Bussy” Brown and Gene Peters; and daughter, Benita Miller.
Survivors include her son, Billy Brown of Grand Saline; four daughters, Betty Sue Axe of Edgewood, Glenda McGuire of Edgewood, Sandra Whitaker of Grand Saline and Debra Cason of Grand Saline; brother, Alvis Luellen of Tyler; sister, Essie Mae Butler of Grand Saline; 20 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Russell, Robert Russell, Neil Hodge, Gary Peters, Raymond McGuire, Kirk Hodge and Jerry Peters.
