Memorial services for Jimmie Dale Pipes, 69, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Bartley Funeral Home with Jeremy Harrell officiating.
Mr. Pipes passed away July 7, 2017, in a Katy nursing home. He was born July 8, 1947, in Grand Saline, to Carl Jackson & Gracie Wise Pipes. He spent his entire life in the Grand Saline area where he was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Texas Ranger fan. He attended First Church of the Nazarene in Grand Saline. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Wanda Sue Pipes.
Survivors include his brothers, Carlos Pipes of Fruitvale and Larry Dale Johnson of Prairieville, LA; sister, Mable Stallings of Edgewood; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
