Jimmie Adair Pringle
ALBA – Funeral services for Jimmie Adair Pringle, 83, of Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2017, in the Chapel of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Jim Parker officiating.
Burial will be in Colony Cemetery, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Pringle passed away Monday, December 4, 2017, in Quitman.
He was born Friday, November 30, 1934, in Dallas, to the late Roscoe Conklin and Jewel Francis Sterling Pringle. He married Leona Joyce Moore on June 1, 1952, in Dallas. He was a carpenter in the construction industry and was a member of the Carpenters Union #198 in Dallas. Jimmie and Leona lived in Alba for 31 years after moving from Dallas. He loved to garden, to hunt, and to fish. He was a Methodist and served in the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Leona Pringle of Alba; son, Richard Wayne Pringle of Dallas; grandchildren, Angela Marie Attaway of Winnsboro and Jeremy Wayne Pringle of Alba; numerous nieces and nephews who were really loved; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and four sisters.
Family visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Friday at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
