Patsy Rakestraw

Mrs. Patsy Ruth Davis Rakestraw, 81, of Alba, passed away November 16, 2020, in Emory. She was born March 12, 1939, in Leonard, to Oren Lee and Claudia Mae Collins Davis. Patsy had lived in the Alba area since 1997. She loved cooking, gardening, and redoing furniture. She also enjoyed tinkering in the yard, antiquing, and going to garage and estate sales. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Franklin Rakestraw; seven brothers, and seven sisters.

Survivors include her three daughters, Carol Hutton of Weatherford, Dee Ann Phillips and husband Randy of Lone Oak, and Vicki Cantu and husband Stephen of Celina; brother, Herman Davis of Lindale; sister, Joy Dee Moore of Midland; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba.
