Michael Lee Ramos

GRAND SALINE – Services for Michael Lee Ramos, 57, of Plano and formerly of Grand Saline and Mineola, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Eddie Smith officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Bartley Funeral Home as well.
Mr. Ramos passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 in a Plano hospital.
He was born August 26, 1955, in Rowlett, to the late Joe Michael and JoAnn Pippin Ramos. He was a 1973 graduate of Grand Saline High School and an iron worker in the construction industry. He traveled all over the United States with his work and lived in Plano for the last three years. He married Wendy Jo Matthews on April 9, 2011, in Plano.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Vernon Ray Mosley.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy Matthews of Plano; son, Matthew Ramos of College Station; sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Jimmy Alexander of Mineola; four nieces, Jayme Alexander, Carrie Manning, Jodi Alexander, and Shiloh Alexander; nephew, Brandon Mosley; two great nieces, Josye Simms and Natalie Roper; two great nephews, Nathan Roper and David Steffen, Jr.; numerous other relatives and friends.
Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Stewart, Ronnie Moreland, James Sullivan, Ron Burk, Rick Navarro, Gigo Rodriguez, David Thompson, J. R. Bane
Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday.
