Services for Yvonne Cordell Rasco, 75 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 12 Noon, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Polley and Lou Mazar officiating.
Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Rasco passed away June 21, 2012 in Grand Saline. She was born March 11, 1937 in DeKalb to Ronald Eugene & Edna Juanette Hartzo Cordell. She spent her early years in DeKalb and Hughes Springs and then had lived in Grand Saline since 1950. She was a member of Caney Creek Cowboy Church and worked as a bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Cordell; mother, Juanette Walker; brother, Johnny Walker; and husband, Don Rasco.
Survivors include her son, Mike Buchanan of Grand Saline; daughter and son-in-law, Teri & Alan Ladd of Scurry; brother and sister-in-law, Herman & Marty Vess of Quitman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene & James Williams of Grand Saline and Susie & Mark Bryant of Canton; five grandchildren, Wade & Kasey Ladd, Kodi Jane Ladd, A.J. Ladd, Britney & Keagan Wilson and Cassie Buchanan; one great-grandchild, Myli Ann Ladd; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Means, Gil Hardy, Michael David Jones, Jimmy Thompson, Steve Bennett, Danny Yarbrough, Louie Ibarra and Lonnie Austin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wiley Garland III, Bobby Don Martin, Dale Cobern, Herschel Walker, Don Yarbrough, John Means, Murray Means and John Mackie.
Memorials may be made to the Old School Museum.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
