Rebecca L. Watkins

Services for Rebecca L. Watkins, 62, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, February 16, 2026, at Riverside Mission Church, with Bro. Donnie Herring and Sis. Delana Wheeler officiating.

Interment will be in Creagleville Cemetery, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline. 

Mrs. Watkins passed away February 9, 2026, at her home in Grand Saline.  She was born June 3, 1963, in Hamlin, to R.D. & Geneva Ann Foster Rumfield.  "Becky" worked as a nurses aide at Country Trails Wellness & Rehabilitation, in Grand Saline, for 24 years. She loved collecting "I Love Lucy" memorabilia and playing with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Aaron Rumfield, Reggie Rumfield, and Ricky Rumfield; and sister, Phayma Rumfield.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Max Watkins of Grand Saline; son, Jacob Watkins and wife Stacy of Winnsboro; daughter, Amanda Watkins of Mineola; three sisters, Joyce Young of Quitman, Bolivia Standfield of Tyler, and Thelma Ybarra of Quitman; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Burrell, Mark Burrell, Jr., Tori Romine, Hannah Havard, Bailey Watkins, and Austin Watkins; three great-grandchildren, Shad Cowart, Laythen Romine, and Zayn Romine; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Austin Watkins, Kadin Hammond, Angel Ybarra, Mark Burrell, Jr., Dale Heidelberg, and Scotty Carrigan.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
