Services for Billie Jo Skinner Reed, 80, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Bartley Funeral Home with Kyle White officiating.
Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Reed passed away February 14, 2017, in a Tyler hospital. She was born May 3, 1936, in Grand Saline to David Livingston & Hazel Elizabeth Burke Skinner. She spent most of her life traveling all over the world with her husband's military career moves, including Spain and the Philippines, before moving back to Grand Saline 18 years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Reed; daughter, Dannie Sue Reed; sister, LaMerle Skinner Adkins; and brother, James Ray "Jr." Burke.
Survivors include her son, Rick Reed and wife Michelle of Springtown; brother, Will Skinner and wife Linda of Quinlan; four grandchildren, Tim Laudermilt, Chad Ellis, Adam Ellis and Brent Andres; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tim Laudermilt, Brent Andres, Adam Ellis, Chad Ellis, Jody Mayne., and William Dewayne Skinner.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
