Graveside services for Shara Edith Reed, 36, of Mineola, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, September 24, 2021, at Pilgrim Rest # 2 Cemetery, Golden, with Bro. Grady Dollar officiating under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Shara went to be with the Lord on September 21, 2021, in Tyler, after a two-year battle with severe pulmonary hypertension. She was born May 12, 1985, in Tyler. She lived all her life in Mineola and was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church. Shara was loved by everyone. She loved animals, especially her dogs and was very outspoken but loving. She never met a stranger and had her own unique personality. Shara was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Emmett and Annie Mae Gilbreath, who helped raise her, and paternal grandparents, Bobby Sr. and Delores Reed.
Survivors include her parents, Debra Reed of Mineola and William “Bill” Reed of Canton; two brothers, Doyle Reed and wife Rachael of Gilmer and Steven Reed and wife Jessica of Georgetown; niece, Ashlyn Reed of Mabank; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Hubbard, Ace Guin, Kaylan Johnson, Matthew “Ducky” Johnson, Michael 23rd Williams, J.P. Bigham, Terrence Hood, and Chris Rossie.
Honorary pallbearers are Ashley Rossie, Krista Burge, Wendi Warren, Nicole Going, and Lechia Tave.
