Betty Reich

Services for Betty Jo McGrady Reich, 83, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Huston officiating.

Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Reich passed away February 14, 2024, in Grand Saline. She was born July 26, 1940, in Canton, to Robert and Cleva Wilma Bryant McGrady. Betty lived most of her life in Van Zandt County and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Canton. She loved gardening and could grow just about anything. She also enjoyed crocheting and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Cheryl; sister, Susie Batey; and four brothers, Douglas McGrady, Fred McGrady, Marshall McGrady, and Derwood McGrady.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Monroe Reich of Grand Saline; two sons, Jody Lunsford and wife Joyce Brand of Fruitvale and Michael Lunsford and wife Joni of Grand Saline; stepsons, Michael Reich and wife Dianna of Canton and Jimmy Reich of Wills Point; daughter, Janice Swain and husband Michael of Grand Saline; stepdaughters, Kimberly Hampton and husband Terry of Dallas and Shirley Riech of Austin; sister-in-law and best friend, Sandy McGrady of Colfax; nine grandchildren, Steven Lunsford, Bryan Lunsford, Rachel Holsome, Jennifer Morgan, Erin Coffman, Brandon Swain, Austin Swain, Logan Craft, and Justus Craft; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 10 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
