George Riggle Jr

Services for Mr. George H. Riggle, Jr., 78, of Arlington, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Tim Riggle and Doris Coppinger officiating.
Interment will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery.
Mr. Riggle passed away March 13, 2021, in Arlington. He was born September 13, 1942, in Van Zandt County to George Herman & Lilly May Young Riggle. George spent his early years in Van Zandt & Wood County before moving to Grand Prairie during high school to play basketball. He lived most of his life in the Grand Prairie/Arlington area where he owned and operated Double G Transportation, a wrecker service in DFW. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mr. Riggle is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 33 years, Anita Wilkins Riggle; four brothers, Joe Riggle, Bill Riggle, Tiny Riggle, and John Riggle; and two sisters, Glenda Anderson and Wanda Kirkland.
Survivors include his son, Eric Riggle of Arlington; three daughters, Stephanie Cobb and husband Rick of Grand Prairie, Tricia Cox of Forney, and Kelli Watts and husband Clint of Forney; sister, Doris Coppinger of Midlothian; sister-in-law, Barbara Riggle of Tyler; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jake Watson, Michael Griffin, Cody Cox, Blake Riggle, D'Wayne Watson, and Randle Krumdieck.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jaycee Watson, Courtney Kilgore, and Rodney Doggett.
Memorials may be made to Cottonwood Cemetery, 1092 FM 1652, Grand Saline, TX 75140.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Thursday.
