Kaye Rodden
Services for Kaye Rodden, 63 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2013 at Roundflat Pentecostal Church with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.
Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Ms. Rodden passed away September 6, 2013 at her home in Grand Saline. She was born September 22, 1949 in Dallas to Glen & Elaine Blaine Beall. She grew up in Mesquite and also lived in Terry, Mississippi for about 18 years before moving back to Grand Saline in 2008. Kaye loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids and adored her late dog, “Chester Rodden.” She was a hard worker and had retired as a clerk for FHA. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Survivors include her parents, Glen and Elaine Beall of Grand Saline; three children, son, Steve Cooper and wife Linda of Gun Barrell City, daughters, Zondra Carpenter and husband Coy of Grand Saline and Tammy Mullins and husband Stinky of Van; three step-children, step-daughters, Traci Harlan and husband John, and Christi Scott, and step-son, Tommy Rodden Jr., all of Mississippi; sisters, Barbara Zink and Carmel Denton, both of Grand Saline, brother, Delbert Beall of Grand Saline; eight grandchildren, Courtney Cook, Brack & Blair Carpenter, Tyler & Lane Mullins and Brandon, Justin & Nathan Cooper; seven step-grandchildren, Amy, Ashley & Alyssa Harlan, Michael & Kandace Gray and Nicholas & Hayleigh Scott; six great-grandchildren, Harvey & Hailey Cooper, Riley Cooper, Hudson & Emory Cook, Presley Mullins, and another on the way.
Pallbearers will be Brack Carpenter, Tyler Mullins, Lane Mullins, Brandon Cooper, Justin Cooper and Nathan Cooper.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas, Tyler, TX.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
