Services for Odell Rogers, 76 of Grand Saline are scheduled for 2pm Tuesday at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Atkins officiating. Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Rogers passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011 in Grand Saline.
He was born to the late Gus & Viola Gilbert Rogers on March 11, 1935 in Athens, Texas. On January 7th, 1954 he married Mary Hashert and they made their home in Grand Saline where Odell gave 54 years of service to Bud Milam’s used cars & wrecker service.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Mrs. Mary Rogers of Grand Saline; 2 sons & daughters in-law: Mike & Mildred Rogers of Grand Saline, Randy & Claudia Rogers of Grand Saline; 6 grandchildren: Missy & Curt Fuller of Flower Mound, Leanne & Jonathan Browning of Tyler, Ashley & Mike Baker of Tyler, Tyler Rogers of Dallas, Whitney Rogers of Grand Saline, Brandon Clark of Grand Saline; 1 great-grandson: Levi Fuller of Flower Mound and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Danny Milam, Armando Aguilar, Renee Galvan, John Rash, Ferd Maciel & Earl McDermott.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Milam, A.W. Harris, Junior Harris and William Rohus.
Visitation will be Monday 6-8pm at the funeral home.
