Robert Rose

Rob went to be with his Lord on Thursday, March 26th from his home in Point, TX. Rob was born in Bakersfield, California to H. C. and Ona Elizabeth Rogers Rose June 2nd 1949. He married Lynda Curtis Pritchett in Carrollton, TX August 20th, 1982. Rob and Lynda raised 3 children. Rob worked as an electrician owning the family business “Computer Room Installation Specialist” and as an electronics technician during his career. He proudly served in the U. S. Navy during the Viet Nam war, achieved his BS in Applied Arts & Sciences from TX A & M Commerce and was an Alpha Chi and Phi Theta Kappa honors society member. Rob was a member of the First Baptist Church of Point, TX where he served as Sunday School Director, Teacher, Choir member, Sound Technician and on several committees. Rob and Lynda moved to Point, TX in 1989 fulfilling their dream to have a home in the country.

Survivors
Three children, Dave Rose and wife Tina of Carl Junction, MO, Bill Pritchett and Wife Wendy of Allen, TX, and Amy Rose Fawks of Meta, MO.
Rob has 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, countless friends and loved ones left behind.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents Herschall C. Rose, Sr. and Elizabeth, brother, Lloyd Carden, Jr. and sisters Peggy Jo Carden-Welch and
Ona Beth Rose-Floyd.

Considering the CDC's current guidelines for COVID-19, Bartley Funeral Home will be limiting gatherings to 10 or less people.
