GOLDEN – Services for Patsy Deloise Russell, 77, of Golden, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2015, at Golden Baptist Church, Golden, with Bro. Ed Lewis and Chaplain David Hicks officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Mineola.
Mrs. Russell passed away Friday, October 2, 2015, in a Mineola nursing home.
She was born Thursday, November 4, 1937, in Wood County, to the late William Earl and Nannie Prather Jones. She married George Arthur Russell on November 18, 1955, in Golden, and they had been married almost 60 years. She had lived in Wood County all of her life, was a homemaker, and a member of the Golden Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of almost 60 years, George Russell of Golden; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Bonnie Russell, and Tony and Sandra Russell all of Golden; daughter and son-in-law, Tamie and Lacy Hogue of Golden; brother, Bill Ed Jones of Quitman; sister-in-law, Frances Davis of Tyler; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Truman Jones and Alvis Jones.
Family visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday 6-8 p.m.
