Jerry Ruyle

Graveside services for Jerry Ruyle, 70, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Starr Cemetery with Dr. Bruce Smilie officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Ruyle passed away March 8, 2019, in Grand Saline. He was born March 15, 1948, in Dallas. Jerry was adopted by Cecil Floyd & Paralea Renfrow Ruyle. He was born and raised in Dallas and had lived in Plano before moving to Grand Saline about 25 years ago. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and later worked as a glass glazier. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Becky Ruyle; and sons, Jason Ruyle and Kurt Ruyle.
Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Johnson and husband Bill of Highland Village; four grandchildren, Dustin Ruyle, Austin Ruyle, Brendon Ruyle and Tesa Ruyle; three great-grandchildren and one on the way; caregiver/niece, Kathleen Sanders; and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
