Sandra Kay Rush

Graveside services for Sandra Kay Rush, 61, of Fruitvale, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Starr Cemetery, with Bro. Jim Parker officiating.

Sandra passed away November 27, 2025, at her home. She was born April 11, 1964, in Grand Saline, to Finus Ray & Madeline McBride Rush. Sandra lived most of her life in Fruitvale where she worked in home healthcare. She was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Finus Ray Rush; mother, Madeline Brewer; two brothers, Johnny Rush, and Steven Rush; two sisters, Doris Daniels, and Judy Moss; and nephew, Justin Landreau.

Survivors include her son, Josh Rush and wife Virginia of Mineola; daughter, Stacy Smith of Fruitvale; two brothers, David Rush and wife Angela of Fruitvale, and Larry Rush and wife Ann of Fruitvale; six sisters, Frankie Phillips and husband Bobby of Grand Saline, Betty Scott of Grand Saline, Brenda Kirk of Mineola, Janice Landreau of Fruitvale, Barbara Copeland of Grand Saline, and Deloris Smith of Van; six grandchildren, Cory Rush, Bryce Rush, Monica Rush, Arianna Smith, Riley Rush, and Miranda Smith; one great-granddaughter, Lainey Rush; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Josh Rush, David Rush, Larry Rush, Bryce Rush, Riley Rush, and Cory Rush.
