Graveside services for Billy John Savage, 58, of Quitman are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Shields Cemetery with Bro. Mike Sullivan officiating.

Mr. Savage passed away June 16, 2014 at his residence in Quitman. He was born July 26, 1955 in Grand Saline to Kirby and Joyce Barker Savage. On March 13, 1993, Billy married Charlotte Eugenia Jones in Mineola. He spent most of his life in Van Zandt County before moving to Quitman, where he had lived for the past four years. Mr. Savage was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jackie Savage.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Savage of Quitman; daughter, Sarah Rosenau and husband Travis of Parker, Colorado; three step-daughters, Michelle Sanford of Mineola, Leigh Ann Nipp of Quitman, and Christy Sanford of Tyler; brother, Kirby Savage and wife Vickie of Mineola; sister, Marsha LaPrade and husband Roy Lee of Fruitvale; five grandchildren, Emerson Jo Rosenau, Ethan Elliott, Alecca Nipp, Neilan Nipp, and Aubriee Jackson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Bartley Funeral Home.
