A private family graveside service will be held for Mrs. Salli Schifani, 79, of Grand Saline, in Sand Flat Cemetery, with Steve Schifani, Jr. officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Salli Hubbard Schifani passed away October 15, 2021, in Quitman. She was born August 28, 1942, in Idabel, OK, to John Reginald & Harvey Fern Foster Hubbard. She had lived in Grand Saline the last 54 years, where she taught for over 40 years in Grand Saline ISD and Van ISD. Salli was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 56 years, Steve Schifani; and brother, John Hubbard.
Survivors include her son, Steve Schifani, Jr. of San Antonio; daughter, Joelle Korn of Dallas; brother, Mickey Hubbard of Houston; four grandchildren, Bryn Korn, Elli Korn, Jake Schifani, and Ashton Schifani; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
