Services for Mr. John Edward "Jack" Seider, 80, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Jones officiating.
Mr. Seider passed away September 13, 2020 in Canton. He was born January 27, 1940, in Hamilton County to William & Freda Senger Seider. Jack spent his early years in Odessa, several years in Houston, then back to Odessa until his retirement to Grand Saline in 1996. He worked as a tool pusher in the oil fields. Mr. Seider is preceded in death by his parents; son, Anthony Scott Seider; brother, Alvin Seider; and three sisters, Mildred Zimmerman, Nadine Seider and Amanda Jones.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Carmon Seider of Grand Saline; daughter, Julie Ann Seider of Jacksonville, FL; three sons, Allan Seider and wife Tisha of Reklaw, Mark Seider of Odessa and Marlin Seider and wife Jennifer of Cookeville, TN; two brothers, Otto Seider and wife Hannah of Houston and Sedney Seider of San Angelo; ten grandchildren, Riley,Dexter, Brock, Cole, Brittany, Courtney, Luke, Cain, Travis and Kennedy; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Library in Grand Saline.
