Services for Audrey Katherine Shaddox, 87, of Richardson, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Winskie officiating.
Interment will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas.
Mrs. Shaddox passed away July 13, 2015, in Richardson. She was born February 24, 1928, in Van Zandt County to William Jethro & Gertrude Viola Barber Melton. She grew up in Van Zandt County and also lived in Terrell where she worked at Piggly Wiggly. She moved to Dallas and spend most of her life there where she worked for Sterling Jewelers. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Dallas and then Richland Heights Baptist Church in Grand Saline. Audrey loved to cook, have her family around and didn’t miss church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Harry Shaddox and Garland Allen; and sister, Verlene Shaddox.
Survivors include her nephews, Chuck Shaddox of Bryan and Rex Shaddox of San Antonio; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Shaddox, Rex Shaddox, Joel Shaddox, John T. Shaddox, Jaxson Shaddox and Jake Shaddox.
Memorials may be made to Richland Heights Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends 12 Noon until service time on Saturday at Bartley Funeral Home.
