Sharrel Elaine Norris (Garner)

Graveside services for Sharrel Elaine Garner Norris, 80, of Point, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Pilgrim Rest #1 Cemetery, in Emory, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Mrs. Norris passed away July 23, 2026, at her residence in Point. She was born May 12, 1946, in Dallas, to Frank Murhl and Billie Louise Goode Garner. Sharrel graduated from Arlington High School, class of 1964. She moved from North Richland Hills to Point, after retiring from the Vought Corporation, over 30 years ago. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the West Tawakoni APA Pool League.

Sharrel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis Norris; and brother, Timothy Garner.

Survivors include her son, Douglas Rash, Jr. of North Richland Hills; and two grandsons, Kevin Rash and Justin Rash; and numerous other relatives and friends.
