Luella Sides

Services for Luella Charlene Nelson Sides, 78, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2016, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Sides passed away May 19, 2016, in a Grand Saline nursing home. She was born December 8, 1937, in Oklahoma to Kenneth & Onia Elizabeth Hair Nelson. She spent all of her life in Grand Saline where she was a member of Roundflat Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leslie Ray Sides; eight brothers, George Nelson, Virgil Nelson, J.R. Copeland, Richard Copeland, J.V. Copeland, R.V. Copeland, Jewel Copeland and Jack Copeland; three sisters, Ruby Nelson, Frances Nelson and Ruby Copeland.
Survivors include two sons, Curtis Sides and wife Holly of Arlington, Travis Sides and wife Debbie of Scurry; three daughters, Glenda Mesley and husband Mike of Grand Saline, Linda Hammond and husband Craig of Grand Saline, Sherry Anderson and husband Dewayne of Houston; three brothers, O.D. Copeland and wife Paula of Grand Saline, Earl Ray Copeland and wife Marie of Grand Saline, Sammy Gene Copeland and wife Mary of Grand Saline; sister, Merle Fay Schnadenberg of Grand Saline; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Copeland and Connie Copeland, both of Grand Saline; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Travis Sides, Dewayne Anderson, Bryan Rock, Chris Campbell, William Rucker, Dakota Morgan, Dustin Sides and Prestin Sides.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
