Services for Mrs. Nan Blue Simmons, 68, of Canton, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, February 25, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.
Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery.
Mrs. Simmons passed away February 23, 2022, in Grand Saline. She was born October 16, 1953, in Grand Saline, to William Melton & Ruby Leota Milam Blue. She spent all of her life in Van Zandt County. Nan was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jennifer Sue Davis; and brother, Bruce Blue.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Charles Simmons of Canton; son, Shawn Davis of Canton; three daughters, Tammy Harger and husband Chuck of Canton, Stacie Ethridge and husband Brandon of Wills Point, and Brandy Simmons of Frankston; sister, Bonnie Cameron and husband Leon of Quitman; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Justin Harger, Charles Harger, James Harger, Austin LaPrade, Luke LaPrade, Brandon Ethridge, Jr., and Steven Richardson.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery.
