Graveside services for Wanda Simpson, 84, Grand Saline are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, March 9, 2020, at Myrtle Springs Cemetery with Bro. Donnie Herring officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Simpson passed away March 1, 2020, in Grand Saline. She was born February 20, 1936, in Myrtle Springs to Mack and Lucille Norwood Goode. Wanda was known by friends and family as one of the nicest people you could ever meet. She and Chester were always willing to help anyone in need. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester Simpson; and one daughter.
Survivors include nephew, Danny Thompson of Grand Saline; niece, Shirley Denton of Fruitvale; and numerous other relatives and friends.
