Services for Arthur Dewayne Sirmans, 27, of Grand Saline are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Sis. Delana Wheeler officiating.
Interment will be in Creagleville Cemetery.
Arthur passed away August 16, 2024, in Tyler. He was born December 8, 1996, in Dallas, and was raised in Grand Saline where he graduated from Grand Saline High School. He lived in Grand Saline for the rest of his life where he attended worship services at numerous churches in the community. He especially enjoyed his time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, attending concerts, dirt track races, and sporting events. Arthur always somehow managed to get backstage at concerts and meet the bands. He shared numerous stories and pictures with the band members at the concerts and in their homes. Arthur never met a stranger. We took him dancing one night and he left with 4 dates and 13 phone numbers. He was a talker. LOL. He had worked at Walmart and installed trailer flooring at Big Tex Trailers. Arthur was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Survivors include his parents, Bobby & Sylvia Sirmans of Grand Saline; two brothers, Roy Cheaney and wife Katie of Grand Saline, and Bobby Sirmans Jr. and wife Angie of Grand Saline; two sisters, Lesia Cockrell and Scott Hite of Poetry, and Willow Kratzmeyer and husband Ethan of Mineola; four nephews, Devin Bailey, Trystan Bailey, Noah Harvill, and Drake Harvill; niece, Brailey Cheaney; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ethan Kratzmeyer, Tim Peden, Garrison Love, Hollis Hill, Devin Bailey, and Bruce Spalding.
Honorary pallbearer will be Travis Skinner.
The family will receive friends 10 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
