Services for Mr. Marshall Slape, 77, of Allen, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Bro. Homer Morgan and Johnny Barrett officiating.

Interment will be in Creagleville Cemetery.

Mr. Slape passed away January 18, 2022, in Dallas. He was born March 12, 1944, in Tulsa, OK, to J.B. & Willie Marie Moore Slape. Marshall spent his early years in Edgewood before moving to Allen about 50 years ago. He was a Mason, owned Midlothian Auto Supply for 30 years, and worked for Plano Auto Supply for 45 years. Mr. Slape was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Jay Elvis Slape and Jimmy Slape.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Anne Slape of Allen; daughter, Marlee Milke and husband Robert of Midlothian; three grandchildren, Tanner Milke and wife Meredith, Ridge Milke and fiancée Lauren, and Lance William Milke; one great-grandchild, Halle Kate Milke; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
