Mary Sletten

Graveside services for Mary Lanell Hewitt Sletten, 71, Eustace, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2020, at Rodgers Cemetery, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mrs. Sletten passed away December 14, 2020, at her home in Eustace. She was born December 30, 1948, in Grand Saline, to L.D. & Delilah Douthitt Hewitt. Mary grew up in Dallas, then married Larry Sletten, April 21, 1973, and they traveled with the U. S. Army Reserves. She retired from Walmart in 2014, after 10 years of service. In 2017, Mary moved to Eustace. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Sletten; five brothers, Dale, Coy, Ray, Phillip, and Ernest; and grandchild, Chandler Sletten.
Survivors include two sons, Johnathan Holbert and wife Kathy of Eustace, and Steven Sletten and wife Misti of Dallas; two brothers, David Hewitt and wife Cindy of Dallas, and James Hewitt of Dallas; seven sisters, Carolyn Butler of Grand Saline, Donna Yeargan and husband Bart of Dallas, Margie Hogue of Dallas, Frances Hoffman of Dallas, Vickie Hewitt of Dallas, Rita Trowbridge and husband Richard of Dallas, and JoNell Hewitt of Grand Saline; five grandchildren, Kalyn, Alyssa, Olivia, Haylie, and Jeffrey; three great-grandchildren, Raylie, Kulton, and Wyatt; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Johnathan Holbert, Steven Sletten, Jeffrey Holbert, Adam Hewitt, Richard Yeargen, and Aaron Reynolds.
The family will receive friends 10 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2020, at the funeral home.
