Memorial services for Mr. Doug Smith, 71, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Pruitt Baptist Church, under the direction of his church and family.
Mr. Smith passed away January 16, 2020, at his home. He was born January 24, 1948, in Ft. Worth, to Horace William & Mary Kathrine Dawson Smith. Mr. Smith served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from Bell Helicopter as a heat treat specialist. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Donald Ray Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Jackson Smith of Grand Saline; brother, Ronald Dean Smith of Weatherford; sister, Gail Diane Livingston of Weatherford; five grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
