Shirley Smith

Mrs. Shirley Roughton Smith, 78, of Emory, passed away December 30, 2024, in Sulphur Springs. She was born June 30, 1946, in Bentonville, AR, to Kenneth & Bonnie Hanson Roughton. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Marvin Roughton, and Richard Roughton.

Survivors include husband of 28 years, David Smith of Emory; three sons, John England of Joplin, MO, Dale England of Joplin, MO, and Phillip Smith of Grand Saline; two daughters, Letha Harris of Stockton, MO, and Teresa Williams of Neosho, MO; brother, Billy Roughton of Jarrett, VA, sister, Ellen Wolf of Joplin, MO; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren, and two on the way; and numerous other relatives and friends.
