Services for Rosa Delia Solorzano Amaya, 86, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Main Street Baptist Church, with Rev. Jose Amaya, Pastor Tobias Palma, Jonathan Campbell, and Pastor Brandon Gray officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Solorzano Amaya passed away October 27, 2021, in Tyler. She was born June 4, 1935, in Chinameca, El Salvador. She was raised in El Salvador before moving to New York, where she lived for 20 years. She moved to Grand Saline in 1998 where she was a member of Iglesia Bautista La Fe. Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Rafael Fuentes Martinez & Roxana Amaya Zelaya; two sons, Nelson, and Jose Elias; sister, Josefina; two brothers, Joselito, and German Arturo; and daughter-in-law, Nancy.
Survivors include her two sons, Jose Amaya and wife Gloria of Greenville, and Rafael Amaya and wife Monica of Grand Saline; two daughters, Maria Fabian and husband Rolando of Grand Saline, and Rosa Campbell and husband Jonathan of Ben Wheeler; four sisters, Zoila Gaitan of Rowlett, Ana Varela "Bety" of Greenville, Nora Perdomo of McKinney, and Hilda Hernandez "Rut" of New York; fourteen grandchildren, Nancy Jo, Sara, Daniel, Ana Gloria, Rolando Jr., Juan, Omar, George, Carlos, Hannah, Samuel, Adam, Caitlyn, and Caleb; seventeen great-grandchildren and one on the way, Andrew, Aaron, Noah, Nahima, Elias, Isaac, Naomi, Pierre, Arumi, Celeste, Vivi, Leo, Cristian Alexander (on the way), Max, Fiona, Elijah, Jayden, and Julia; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Rafael Amaya, Rolando Fabian Jr., Juan Fabian, Omar Fabian, George Fabian, and Carlos Fabian.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan Campbell, Andrew Cardwell, Adam Amaya, Samuel Campbell, Daniel Amaya, Rolando Fabian Sr., Caleb Amaya, and Aaron Cardwell.
Memorials may be made to Iglesia Bautista La Fe, Grand Saline.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday, November 1, 2021, at the funeral home.
