Ronnie Staley

Mr. Ronnie Daniel Staley, 78, of Alba, passed away March 11, 2025, in Greenville. He was born November 24, 1946, in Altoona, PA, to Clarence E. and Bessie Grace Norris Staley. On October 4, 1969, he married Bonnie Dell Hertzog in Altoona, PA. Together, they moved from Cedar Hill to the Alba area 15 years ago. He loved fishing, hunting, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and family gatherings. He worked as a certified master welder, specializing in water main repairs. Ronnie was a proud veteran of the US Marines, serving two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Edna Robbins.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Bonnie Staley of Alba; three daughters, Lori Ann Williams and husband Michael B. of Henrietta, Michele Shetzer and husband Tracy of Prosper, and Danielle Owens and husband Marus of Mineola; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will have a memorial service honoring Ronnie at a later date.
