Graveside services for Mrs. Janet Stark, 68, of Campbell, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2014, at Prairie Valley Cemetery, Campbell, with Randy Daw officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
Mrs. Stark passed away December 19, 2014, in Rowlett. She was born July 31, 1946, in Pasadena, CA, to Fred & Jewell Medford Carrigan. Janet was born and raised in California and moved to Dallas at the age of 16. She married Jim Stark November 15, 1963. Jim and Janet moved to Campbell in 1988. They attended Johnson Street Church of Christ and Janet worked as a beautician. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sandra Rose Speed; brother, Douglas Carrigan; and sister, Loretta Jo Martin.
Survivors include husband, Jim D. Stark of Campbell; two grandchildren, Nicole Speed of Campbell and Dylan Speed of Greenville; brother-in-laws, Don Walker of Colton, CA, Joe Stark of Phoenix, AZ, James & Sheila Stark of Merit, J.M. & Alice Beshirs of Sumner; nieces, Shirley Atkins of Houston and Sue Nation of Lake Fork; several nephews in Paris; great nieces, Augie Atkins and Christy Keeton; several cousins in Dallas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
