Cynthia Stinson

Mrs. Cynthia Ann “Cyndi” Young Stinson, 66, of Alba, passed away January 14, 2022, at her residence in Alba. She was born July 5, 1955, in Ft. Worth, to W.L. and Laverne Thomas Young. On June 15, 1973, she married Billy Bob Stinson, Jr. in Arlington. Cyndi worked at the Irving Regional Day School for the Deaf, as the program secretary, for 18 years. She then traveled to Tanzania, East Africa, working side by side with her husband as missionaries. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Bill Stinson of Alba; son, Larry Stinson and wife Carissa of Azle; daughter, Angela Martin and husband Chris of Arlington; sister, Alisa Boris of Azle; six grandchildren, Julie, Tyler, Ronnie, Ethan, Cody, and Laney; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, at New York Avenue Church of Christ, Arlington, with Eddie Stinson officiating, under the direction of the church and family.
