Reba Stone

Services for Reba J. Norris Stone, 93, of Canton, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Bro. Randy Crudgington officiating.

Mrs. Stone passed away August 6, 2023, in Tyler. She was born May 4, 1930, in Fruitvale, to Louie Cosby & Maggie Jewel Armstrong Norris. Reba lived in Canton for over 40 years where she enjoyed yardwork, bible study, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Berlie James Stone in 2004; daughter, Kathy Sue Stone; sons, Berlie Jean Stone and Timothy Wayne Stone; and sister, Hazel Corley.

Survivors include her daughter, Norene Waymire and husband Jerry of Terrell; brother, Horace Wallace and wife Carolyn of Sunnyvale; six grandchildren, James Stone, Timothy Stone, Stephen Stone, Teresa Stephenson, Jennifer Kroesche, and Meredith Muldrow; four great-grandchildren, Clayton Kroesche, Maggie Kroesche, Haille Stephenson, and Jacob Kroesche; one great-great-grandchild, Jenson Kroesche; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be James Stone, Timothy Stone, Stephen Stone, Clayton Kroesche, Jacob Kroesche, Mike Kroesche, Kenneth Stephenson, and Chad Wallace.

Memorials may be made to Shields Cemetery, P.O. Box 255, Grand Saline, TX, 75140.

The family will receive friends 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, prior to services at the funeral home.
