Services for Danny Lee Taylor, 33, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Lakeside Baptist Church, Canton, with Pastor Justin Howe and Bro. Wayne Brinkley officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Interment will follow in Meredith Campground Cemetery, Athens.
Mr. Taylor passed away July 30, 2024, in Brownsville. He was born January 31, 1991, in Terrell, to Mark Taylor and Tammy Brown Taylor. Danny lived most of his life in Grand Saline where he owned and operated DZ Diesel Mechanic Shop. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Troy and Patsy Busby and James “Jim” Froedge; aunt, Tina Taylor; and cousin, Harley Wiggins.
Survivors include his mother, Tammy Taylor of Quinlan; father, Mark Taylor and wife Kristi of Grand Saline; grandmother, Sharon Froedge of Grand Saline; wife, Haylie Barnes of Grand Saline; three sons, Casyn Taylor of Martins Mill, Maddix Taylor of Grand Saline, and Kylan Taylor of Grand Saline; daughter, Alexia Taylor of Martins Mill; sister, Taren Taylor of Grand Saline; step-brothers, Donovan Brown and wife Merritt of Van, and Ryan Brown and wife Courtney of Grand Saline; three nieces, Addison Thompson, Alliyah Thompson, and Aubri Lindsay; nephew, Ariat Williams; aunts and uncles, “Mike” Michael Taylor and wife Pat of Grand Saline; Troya Busby of Edom, Kizar Luckett and husband Brent of Hendersonville, TN, and Amanda Martin and husband Bruce of Hurst; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Alexander, Coty Clark, Elijah Cook, Dylan Daniels, Keith Sweeden, and Trevor Warren.
The family will receive friends 12 p.m., Saturday, at the church.
