Margaret Taylor

Services for Margaret Elaine Taylor, 67, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Bro. C.R. Chapman officiating.

Ms. Taylor passed away December 14, 2022, at her home. She was born January 17, 1955, in Carthage, to Cordell & Margaret Laverne Smith Taylor. She was raised in Carthage, spent many years in Tyler, then moved to Many, LA, where she worked as a florist. She retired back to East Texas in Van Zandt County and worked as a caregiver for Visiting Angels Hospice. She was a former member of McMurry Drive Baptist Church in Tyler and was baptized there. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her two sons, Brock Strahan of Many, LA, and Jeremy Russell and wife Kim of Many, LA; sister, Sherry Royce and husband Dennis of Ben Wheeler; four grandchildren, Harley Fredieu and husband Landon, Drake Russell, Abram Strahan, and Audrey Strahan; great-grandchild, Maverick Fredieu; and numerous other relatives and friends.
