Services for Wanda Jo Clay Taylor, 89, of Alba, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 24, 2023, at First Baptist Church, Alba, with Dr. Kelly Burton officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Alba.
Mrs. Taylor passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at her residence in Alba. She was born March 11, 1934, in Winnsboro, to Roger Cleveland and Dolly Jewell (Alvis) Clay. On July 30, 1952, she married Charles Lee Taylor in Alba. Wanda lived most of her life in the Alba area and was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard tending to her flowers and bird watching. She especially liked weed eating. Wanda loved her family and her church. Hosting and cooking for family gatherings, playing cards and dominoes, and doing word finds were among some of her favorite activities. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 44 years, Charles Lee Taylor; two brothers, Harold W. Clay and William L. Clay; sister, Margaret Walsh; and grandson, Jeremy Castillo.
Survivors include her two sons, Johnny Taylor (Darla) of Alba and Mark Taylor of Alba; two daughters, Kathy Massie (Terry) of Golden and Barbara Castillo (Israel) of McAllen; brother, R.C. Clay, Jr. of Whitehouse; sister, Pam Keith of Winnsboro; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mark Taylor, Johnny Taylor, Israel Castillo, Terry Massie, Caleb Taylor, Michael Lewis, and Dylan Pitre.

The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
