ALBA – Memorial services for Brenda Sue Shultz Thompson, 72, of Alba, will be held at a later date by the family. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mrs. Thompson passed away Monday, May 13, 2019, in Quitman.
Brenda was born Wednesday, December 18, 1946, in Greenville, to the late John K. and May Lou Allen Shultz. She married Jimmy Lynn Thompson on October 20, 1978, in Quitman. She lived in Alba all of her life and loved her family. She also loved flowers, the outdoors and gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jimmy Thompson of Alba; daughter, Molly Newland and husband Shawn of Alba; and three grandchildren, Paisley, Hailey, and Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
