Clyde Thompson

Services for Mr. Clyde Thompson, 71, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Jay Barnes officiating.
Mr. Thompson passed away January 14, 2015, in Grand Saline. He was born August 24, 1943, in Franklin, LA, to Howard G. & Marguerite Poole Thompson. He spent all of his life in Grand Saline where he was a member of Grand Saline Masonic Lodge 1269 and worked as a supervisor at Tyler Pipe. He was a member of Sand Flat Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Thompson; and two daughters, Jennifer Wise and Georgia Kay Thompson.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Jana & Louis Criswell of Grand Saline; son-in-law, Jim Wise of Ben Wheeler; seven grandchildren, Louis Ray Criswell, Curtis Wise, Katie Criswell, Todd Criswell, Dylan Criswell, James Wise and David Criswell; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
