Services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Fritz Thompson, 66, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Jay Barnes officiating.
Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson passed away August 19, 2014 in Grand Saline. She was born December 21, 1947 in Grand Saline to Alvin "Whistle" & Emmer Payne Fritz. She was a lifelong resident of Grand Saline and a member of Sand Flat Baptist Church. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Jennifer Wise and Georgia Kay Thompson; and brother, Alvin Ray Fritz.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde Thompson of Grand Saline; daughter and sons-in-law, Jana & Louis Criswell of Grand Saline and Jim Wise; and seven grandchildren, Louis Ray Criswell, Curtis Wise, Katie Criswell, Todd Criswell, Dylan Criswell, James Wise and David Criswell.
Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
The family will receive friends 6:30-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
